Cutting corners

After numerous attempts to get a much loved 12-year old rose bush to propagate from stem cuttings, here's the first one that made it to flower. Ironically, out of the half dozen transplants attempted, this was the only one that was stuck into the earth **without** dipping the stem in rooting powder.
